Hanmi is pronounced Hahn-mee.  It means "Korea and America".

Hanmi is a law firm located in Fairfax, Virginia.  Hanmi does most of its work in the area of Bankruptcy.  In particular, we focus on Chapter 7 and 13 filings for individuals and small businesses.  We cater mostly to the Korean American community in the Northern Virginia area.  But, we are not bashful.  If you've got financial problems and would like to file for relief under the Bankruptcy Code, we are more than happy to help you.  Your race, color, persuasion, or whatever are all welcomed at Hanmi.  We are here to help (for a fee of course).

We believe work should be fun.  Filing bankruptcy should not be so painful.  We try to make your life easier by getting the debt collectors off your back.  This does not mean that we want you to be irresponsible.  We will help you get back on your feet so that you can work again (or continue to work), pay taxes and spend money for a better economy.  The worst thing to happen for this great country USA is a distraught debtor who has lost all motivation to work because he is not able to hold onto anything he earns.  We want you to be a working man/woman that contributes to the society; not a charge on the society.

In addition to Bankruptcy, we also provide services in Divorce and Overtime Wage actions.
